Operations scheduled for Madison County
Thermoplastic markings
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 28, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that thermoplastic marking operations are scheduled for Madison County. Markings include stop bars, crosswalks and arrows. The markings improve reflectivity, and visibility which enhance safety. Flaggers will be onsite to guide and direct traffic. Motorists can pass through the work zones.
Tuesday, July 29 – 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.

- KY 595 at KY 956 (milepoint 4.471)
- KY 956 at KY 1983 (milepoint 3.745)
- KY 595 at Ellipse Street (milepoint 2.809)
