Lane closure for Glensboro Road/KY 44 in Anderson County
Slide repair operations between milepoints 6.8 – 7.2
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 25, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that one lane is closed on Glensboro Road/KY 44 due to a slide. Repair operations are being performed by the Anderson County Maintenance Crew. The slide is due to heavy rainfall that has occurred.
Friday, July 25 – currently and until further notice
Glensboro Road/KY 44
- one lane (restricted to 11 ft.) is closed due to a slide between milepoints 6.8 – 7.2
- the slide is slightly west of Birdie Road/KY 395
- repair operations are in progress
- one lane remains open
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
