FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (July 18, 2025) – Intermittent one-lane traffic across the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge (US 62) at Maysville has been extended by two hours today, July 18, to complete inspections. Traffic will resume normal operations at 6:30 p.m., or when complete.

One-lane bridge traffic, daytime delays possible
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (July 9, 2025) – Motorists should watch for intermittent one-lane traffic across the Simon Kenton Memorial Bridge (US 62) at Maysville July 14 - July 18 for routine engineering inspections.
Inspections will require temporary lane closures between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. each day. Traffic will be alternated into one lane, one direction at a time, by flaggers as needed where crews are working. Inspections should be complete by Friday, July 18, weather permitting.
Due to the high volume of traffic that uses the Ohio River bridge, delays and traffic backups should be expected.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes during inspection hours if possible, such as detouring to the William H. Harsha Bridge (US 68) three miles west of Maysville to connect between Kentucky and US 52, US 62, or US 68 in Ohio.
