TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Daily Closures of KY 3077 (River Road) in Downtown Louisville This Week
Routine bridge inspection scheduled
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 14, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the daily closures of KY 3077 (River Road) beginning Monday, July 14, in downtown Louisville.
Consultant engineers are scheduled to perform the routine hands-on inspection of the Interstate 64 bridge over KY 3077 (River Road) between 7th Street and 3rd Street beginning today, July 14. To accommodate this work, sections of KY 3077 (River Road) will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. through Monday, July 21. Interstate 64 traffic will not be affected during the inspection, and motorists will continue to have access to Exit 4 to 3rd Street.
Motorists should use caution, seek alternate routes, and plan for potential delays.
