UPDATE: Intersection of U.S. 51 and KY 58 in Hickman County Now Open to Traffic
PADUCAH, Ky. (July 12, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has reopened the intersection of U.S. 51 and KY 58 in Hickman County.
In Clinton, both KY 58/W. Clay Street between U.S. 51 and KY 123, and U.S. 51 between KY 58 and KY 1826, are now open to traffic.

PADUCAH, Ky. (July 8, 2025) – KY 58/W. Clay Street in Hickman County is now blocked from mile points 9.514 to 10.146. This is along KY 58 between U.S. 51 and KY 123.
The closure is due to further overnight collapse of a vacant commercial building located at the intersection of U.S. 51 and KY 58.
U.S. 51 remains blocked between KY 58 and KY 1826.
There is no official detour in place at this time.

PADUCAH, Ky. (July 6, 2025) – U.S. 51 in Hickman County is blocked between mile points 7.76 and 8.045 due to a partial building collapse onto the roadway.
This is along U.S. 51 between KY 58 and KY 1826 in the city of Clinton.
No detour is currently in place. Motorists are advised to use caution and avoid the area if possible.
