Operations scheduled for Interstate 75 in Fayette County
Temporary lane closures North and Southbound
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 5, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of temporary lane closures scheduled for Interstate 75. The closures are necessary for concrete bases to be poured. The bases are for signage that will be installed for the median.
Interstate 75
Sunday, July 6 through Monday, July 7 – 7 p.m. Sunday until 5 a.m. Monday

Southbound – a single left/fast lane closure will be in effect between milepoints 115 and 110
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
Monday, July 7 through Tuesday, July 8 – 7 p.m. Monday until 5 a.m. Tuesday

Northbound – a single left/fast lane closure will be in effect between milepoint 110 and 115
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes: Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties
