Temporary Daytime Closures on KY 819 in Lyon County Set to Start on Wednesday, July 2
Three cross drain replacement projects planned over the next week
PADUCAH, Ky. (June 30, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) Lyon County Highway Maintenance Crew plans to temporarily close sections of KY 819 between mile markers 0 and 8 for three separate projects scheduled over the coming week.
Crews will replace cross drains at the following locations (listed by project date, weather permitting):
- Wednesday, July 2: Road closure from mile point 7-8
- Thursday, July 3: Road closure from mile point 2-3
- Monday, July 7: Road closure from mile point 0-1
Work will begin each day at 7 a.m. and is expected to be completed by 3:30 p.m.
