Traffic Advisory: Pavement Marking Work in Jessamine, Garrard, Mercer Counties

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 30, 2025) Motorists should expect intermittent flagged traffic in Jessamine, Garrard, and Mercer counties Monday and Tuesday, June 30 and July 1, where crews are installing thermoplastic pavement markings at the following locations:

Monday, June 30, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • At KY 169 at U.S. 68 in Jessamine County
  • Along U.S. 27, KY 52, and KY 34 in Garrard County

Tuesday, July 1, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Along U.S. 127, and KY 390 

Motorists should heed all warning signs and slow down to protect themselves and workers.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
