Operations scheduled for
Lexington Road/US 27 in Bourbon County
Resurfacing between Main Street/US 68X and Bourbon Hills Drive
LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 27, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of operations scheduled for Lexington Road/US 27. Work will include resurfacing (adding a new top layer of asphalt).
Sunday, June 29 through November 15 – operations will begin with evening work and then transition to day work for weekdays
- June 29 until July 4 – hours will be 7 p.m. until 8 a.m.
- July 4 until Nov. 15 – hours will be 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Lexington Road/US 27- East and Westbound
- alternating lane closures will be in effect between milepoints 5.78 - 6.765
- the section for the work will be located from the intersection with Main Street/US 68X to the intersection with Bourbon Hills Drive (CR)
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
