Traffic Advisory: All Lanes Now OPEN on Newtown Pike at Citation Boulevard in Lexington in Lexington
All detours have ceased from Thursday night closure
LEXINGTON, Ky. (11 AM June 26, 2025) – All lanes of Newtown Pike (KY 922) and Citation Boulevard at the north Lexington intersection has reopened following a temporary closure Thursday night after a storm brought down electric lines. Crews worked overnight to direct traffic, replace utility poles and lines, and restore traffic signals.
All detours on Newtown Pike, Citation Boulevard, and at the I-75 Exit 115 off ramps have ceased. Normal traffic patterns have resumed.
