Emergency Pipe Replacement Scheduled for Pike County KY 194 in Freeburn

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (June 17, 2025) –The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12 advises the public of an emergency pipe replacement project scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, on KY 194 at mile point 62 in the Freeburn area, near the power station.
To perform this critical work safely and efficiently, KY 194 will be closed at the worksite starting at approximately 7:30 a.m.The road is expected to reopen by 5:00 p.m., though crews will work diligently to reopen it sooner if possible.
Motorists are asked to plan ahead and seek alternate routes during the closure. Please use extra caution if traveling in the area and follow posted detour or flagger instructions.
