COVINGTON, Ky. (June 16, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of upcoming geotechnical work on Shaw Road (KY 536) in Kenton County beginning Tuesday, June 17.

Crews will be collecting pavement and soil samples ahead of an upcoming construction project on KY 536. These crews will be working on Shaw Road between Independence Road (3.45 mile point) and east of Wilson Road (3.54 mile point), a distance of 0.09 miles.

This work will require a single lane closure in the area between the hours of 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. Flaggers will be used on both sides of the project area to guide traffic safely through the work zone.
