Pipe Replacement Scheduled on KY 1373 in Pike County — Temporary Closure at Beaver Creek

PIKEVILLE, Ky. (June 3, 2025) –The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 12 advises the public of a temporary road closure scheduled for Wednesday, June 18, on KY 1373 at mile point 3.5, also known as Beaver Creek in Pike County.
Crews will be replacing a drain pipe at this location. To safely and efficiently complete the work, the road will be closed from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. During this time, crews will cut across the road to install the new pipe, requiring a full closure of the roadway at the work zone.
Motorists will be able to access both sides of the closure point, but no thru-traffic will be permitted while work is ongoing.
Please plan ahead and seek alternate routes to avoid delays.
- Emergency vehicles will be accommodated.
- All other vehicles must use a detour during working hours.
- Please watch for signage, equipment, and workers in the area.
