Daytime Lane Restriction Planned on and near U.S. 60 in Marion Starting Wednesday, June 11

Paving project will target three areas

PADUCAH, Ky. (June 5, 2025) A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a daytime, work zone lane restriction on and near U.S. 60 in Crittenden County starting on Wednesday, June 11.

A crew will be milling and paving in three focus areas in the city of Marion. The locations are:

  • KY 91 from mile points 4.5 to 11.5. This begins at the U.S. 60/KY 91 intersection in Marion and goes north on KY 91 to Deer Run Lane.
  • U.S. 60 from mile points 9.2 to 9.7. This along U.S. 60/Main Street from E. Gum Street to Second Street.
  • KY 981/Old Salem Road from mile points 0 to 0.45. This is between U.S. 60 and KY 91.

Motorists should be alert for signage and flaggers directing traffic to shift into the open lane in the work zone. Appropriate caution required.

Rogers Group is the prime contractor. The entire paving project is expected to be completed by June 30, weather permitting.
