Paving Project to Begin today on KY 181 in Muhlenberg County
Work scheduled to last for about a week
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (June 04, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to begin paving operations this week along a section of KY 181 (Greenville Road) in Muhlenberg County, between Henry Lane (5.8 mile point) and the Carter Creek Bridge (11.8 mp). This is the area where crews have been replacing cross drains in preparation for the application of new asphalt.
Milling work is planned for today, Wednesday, June 4, with paving scheduled to begin tomorrow. Once paving begins, the project is expected to be completed within a week.
During paving, motorists should expect a one lane road with alternating traffic patterns controlled by flaggers.
