Road closure for culvert replacement
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 31, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of work scheduled for Chrisman Mill Road/KY 1541 in Jessamine County. A temporary closure will be necessary for an aluminum culvert to be replaced.
Monday, June 2 through Friday, June 6 – 8:30 a.m. Monday until Friday at 3:30 p.m.
Chrisman Mill Road/KY 1541
- a section of the roadway will be closed at milepoint 6.24
- the area near the closure is Cobb Lane (CR)
- message boards will be in place to alert motorists of the closure
- the traveling public will need to utilize an alternate route
Alternate Route
- North – Logana Pike/KY 1981
- South – Pollard Pike (CR)
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
