Bridge Maintenance Operations Begin Monday, June 2 on KY 472 in Clay County
MANCHESTER, Ky. (May 30, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that KY 472 at mile point 7.57 in Clay County will be closed starting at 7 a.m. on Monday, June 2 and will re-open Thursday, June 6 at 7 p.m.
The closure is required to replace a bridge structure at this location with an aluminum box culvert.
KYTC asks motorists to be aware of the work zone, expect significant delays, and to utilize safe driving habits when traveling through the area.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
