MADISONVILLE, Ky. (May 30, 2025) –The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet anticipates work zone construction and maintenance activities at the following locations in District 2 that could impact traffic during the week of June 1-7.
All work scheduled is subject to change depending on numerous factors, including the weather.

Guardrail Repairs —
A contractor for the KYTC will be conducting guardrail work around the district that could result in temporary lane restrictions Wednesday, June 4 and Thursday, June 5, weather permitting.. They will be at the following locations this week:
• I-169 northbound (7.8 mm) in Christian County
• U.S. 41 northbound (8.7,28 and 18.9 mm) in Christian County
• I-24 eastbound (78.9 mm) in Christian County
• I-169 southbound median (8.28 mm) in Christian County
• KY 293 at the Caldwell-Lyon County line
• I-169 southbound ramp from U.S. 62 to the interstate and the northbound off ramp from I-169 to U.S. 62 in Hopkins County
