Cross Drain Replacement in Muhlenberg County this Week
Temporary closure planned today at the 8.5 mile point near Weaver Lane
MADISONVILLE, Ky. (May 29, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet plans to continue replacing cross drains along a section of KY 181 in Muhlenberg County today, with a temporary road closure near the 8.5 mile point.
Crews will be blocking the roadway at this location this morning, but plan to have it reopened by 3 p.m. The location is just south of Weaver Lane.
Another closure is planned along KY 181 either Friday or Monday, depending on the weather. That will be a one-day, daytime closure as well.
