TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Closure of KY 524 (Covington Ridge Road) Beginning Friday, May 16, in Oldham County
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 15, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of the daily closures of a section of KY 524 (Covington Ridge Road) beginning Friday, May 16, in Oldham County.
KY 524 (Covington Ridge Road) will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. from mile point 5.48 (near Driftwood Drive) to mile point 6.10 (near Tingle Lane) on Friday, May 16, and Monday, May 19. The daily closures are necessary for contract crews to perform base failure repairs and asphalt patching.
Motorists should heed signage, use caution, and expect to follow detours around the affected area while work is underway.
