Traffic Impacts For Utility Work on North Bend Road (KY 237) in Boone County on Sunday, May 18
Utility crews will install new wire over KY 237
COVINGTON, Ky. (May 15, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of traffic impacts for utility work on North Bend Road (KY 237) in Boone County on Sunday, May 18.
Crews will be installing a new utility line over the road between the hours of 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. This work will require North Bend Road to be blocked in both directions for up to 15 minutes at a time. These 15 minute closures will take place just north of Interstate 275 (between 10.55 and 10.7 mile points).
Additionally, the Exit 6A off-ramp from I-275 westbound to KY 237 northbound will be blocked for the entirety of the two-hour utility work project. Access to I-275 westbound from KY 237 northbound should be maintained.
DETOUR: I-275 westbound to Exit 8 for Graves Road (KY 495), to KY 237.
Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, and find an alternate route during these hours to avoid delays.
Weather permitting, this utility project should be completed by Sunday, May 18, at 9 a.m. KYTC will advise if additional days of work are needed for this utility project.
