Traffic Advisory: Paving Tomorrow on KY 716 in Boyd County
Expect daytime one-lane flagged traffic
FLEMINGSBURG, Ky. (May 13,2025) –Daytime paving will begin tomorrow on KY 716 (Summitt Road) in Boyd County, requiring one-lane flagged traffic.
Beginning Wednesday, May 14, and continuing through May 23, motorists should expect one-lane flagged traffic on 716 between the US 60 and KY 5 intersections (milepoints 0 to 1.6) at Summitt.
Road work schedules may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists are asked to heed all warning signs, slow down in work zones and remain aware of workers and construction equipment when traveling
The work is being done by Mountain Enterprises, Inc., under a $295,404.75 Kentucky Transportation Cabinet contract.
