Nighttime Lane Restriction Planned Along U.S. 45/Lone Oak Road Starting Around Monday, May 12
Paving begins near Hannan Plaza and moves toward Hucks in Lone Oak
PADUCAH, Ky. (May 7, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a nighttime, work zone lane restriction along U.S. 45/Lone Oak Road, from mile point 9.224 to 5.785 in McCracken County, beginning around Monday, May 12.
A paving crew will work in short segments along the route, starting near the Hannan Plaza shopping center and continuing toward the Hucks convenience store near the intersection with KY 1241 in Lone Oak.
The work zone will be active at night between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m.
Motorists should be alert for signage, equipment and flaggers directing traffic in the work zone. Appropriate caution required.

The project is expected to be completed in its entirety by June 30.
