Cross drain replacement operations
LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 6, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a scheduled closure for a section of Ware Road/KY 2335. The temporary closure is necessary for cross drain replacement operations.
Wednesday, May 7 – 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Ware Road/KY 2335
- a closure for cross drain replacement work will be in effect at milepoint 3
- the road will be completely closed during the hours of work
- message boards will be in place to alert motorists
Alternate Route
- Hutchinson Road/KY 1939 to Paris Pike/US 68 to Muir Station Road/KY 1893 to Briar Hill Road/KY 57
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
