Daytime Work Zone Planned Along U.S. 68/Canton Road in Trigg County Starting Monday, May 5
Paving project between Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley bridges
PADUCAH, Ky. (Apr. 30, 2025) – A contractor for the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a daytime work zone along U.S. 68/Canton Road in Trigg County starting on Monday, May 5.
A crew will be milling and paving in smaller sections along U.S. 68/Canton Road from about the 0.23- to 8.28-mile points. This project will span from the U.S. 68/KY 80 Eggners Ferry Bridge over Kentucky Lake to the U.S. 68/KY 80 Cumberland River/Lake Barkley Bridge.
Work is expected to be completed in approximately three weeks, weather permitting.
Motorists should be alert for signage and flaggers directing traffic to shift into the open lane in the work zone. Appropriate caution required.
Rogers Group is the primary contractor. This is part of a $3.16 million asphalt resurfacing project.
