PADUCAH, Ky. (Apr. 11, 2025) – Both lanes of Interstate 24 westbound are temporarily blocked at the 39-mile marker in Lyon County for cleanup of a semi crash.
Motorists will detour via I-24 Exit 40 at Eddyville/Kuttawa, taking U.S. 62 west and KY 453 north to return to I-24 westbound at I-24 Grand Rivers Exit 31.

PADUCAH, Ky. (Apr. 11, 2025) – The left-hand or passing lane of Interstate 24 westbound is blocked at the 39-mile marker in Lyon County following a commercial vehicle crash.
Early reports indicate a semi is overturned in the median.
All traffic is being shifted into the right-hand lane around the crash site.
Estimated duration is 4 to 6 hours. Use caution.
