Operations for the Nicholasville Bypass/US 27 in Jessamine County
The continued scheduled work is part of Phase 1
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 8, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of operations scheduled for the Nicholasville Bypass/US 27. The continued work is part of Phase 1: to add a Northbound left turn lane and to extend the Southbound left turn lane for the bypass.
Wednesday, April 9 – 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
The Nicholasville Bypass/US 27 – the intersection with Keene Road/KY 169
- the work includes adding a NB left turn lane and extending the SB left turn lane for the bypass
- a rolling roadblock will be utilized
- a lane shift will be in effect between milepoints 9.6 and 10.0
- motorists will be able to pass through the work zone
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
