District 7 report for routes affected
by weather conditions
Update for slides and high water
LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 3, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this advisory is an update for high water and slides in the district. The following is the most accurate information available for the time this advisory was sent.
Closures/Openings:
Thursday, April 3 – as of 2:30 p.m. and until further notice
Madison County
- Lexington Road/KY 2328 – the roadway is temporarily closed between the Boones Trace Subdivision (milepoint 1.4) and the bridge over the KY River (milepoint 1.9) due to an active mud slide
- motorists will need to utilize Lexington Road/US 25 to Interstate 75 at Exit 99 as an alternate route
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott, and Woodford Counties.
