Maintenance Project on Petersburg Road (KY 20) in Boone County Now Underway

Crews will be working between 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.

COVINGTON, Ky. (March 28, 2025) – A maintenance project on Petersburg Road (KY 20) in Boone County is now underway.

The KYTC Boone County maintenance crew will be performing ditching operations on Petersburg Road from Airport Access Road (KY 212) (19.71 mile point) to River Road (KY 8) (20.71 mile point), a distance of 1.0 mile. This work will improve safety and drainage on Petersburg Road.

Crews will be working between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Motorists should expect a single lane closure with flaggers guiding traffic safely through the work zone.

Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed Friday, April 4. 

The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
