Striping operations scheduled for District 7
Refreshed striping assists with increasing safety
LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 27, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of striping operations to begin for District 7. Refreshed striping assists with increasing safety by enhancing roadway visibility. This is a mobile operation and motorists can pass through the work zones. The anticipated completion date is Thursday, August 15.
Monday, April 14 through Friday, August 29
District 7
- striping operations are scheduled for various state routes in District 7
- appropriate signage will be in place on mobile vehicles to alert motorists
- 7 a.m. until 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays (times are approximate) for counties in District 7
- 8 p.m. until 5 a.m. for high volume routes in District 7
- work could be scheduled for Saturdays/Sundays if necessary (in addition to weekdays)
- operations may begin earlier for mornings and extend later during afternoons
The traveling public should be aware of the mobile project and reduce speed when approaching work zones.
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
