Daytime Closure Planned at Little River Bridge on U.S. 68-Business in Cadiz Starting Monday, March 24
Debris removal expected to be completed in five days
PADUCAH, Ky. (Mar. 19, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) plans a week-long, daytime closure of the Little River Bridge on U.S. 68-Business/Canton Road in Trigg County, starting on Monday, March 24.
The bridge is located at the 1.615-mile marker near Cadiz City Park.
A crew will be using a long-reach excavator to remove debris lodged against bridge.
The closure will be from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day from Monday, March 24 to Friday, March 28, weather permitting.
Motorists may self-detour via KY 139/South Road and U.S. 68/Bypass Road.
Following work in Trigg County, the crew will move to Calloway County on approximately Monday, March 31 and remove debris lodged against the Rockhouse Creek Bridge on KY 464/West Fork Road. The bridge is located at the 10.252-mile marker on KY 464 between KY 783/Airport Road and U.S. 641, west of the Almo community.
