Repairs scheduled for New Circle Road/KY 4 in Fayette County

District 7 Fayette County Maintenance 

LEXINGTON, Ky. (March 18, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled pothole repairs. Rolling roadblocks (a mobile operation) will be utilized for the work. Temporary delays for traffic during the operations will be approximately 15 – 20 minutes. The Kentucky State Police will be assisting.

Wednesday, March 196 p.m. until 12 a.m. (midnight)

New Circle Road/KY 4

  • repairs will begin at Old Frankfort Pike/KY 1681 (Exit 6) on the Outer Loop and progress to Woodhill Drive
  • work will then proceed from Woodhill Drive to Old Frankfort Pike/KY 1681 (Exit 6) on the Inner Loop
  • the limits for repairs are between milepoints 6.771 and 14.508
  • message boards will be in place to alert motorists
  • drivers are advised to seek an alternate route if possible

The traveling public should expect delays during the hours of scheduled repair operations.

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis and subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
