Roadway rehabilitation scheduled for I-75 in
Madison County
Milling and resurfacing work
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Month 18, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of scheduled roadway rehabilitation for I-75 in Madison Co. Milling and resurfacing work will be in effect for the interstate. In addition, a slide repair and barrier wall replacement for the bridges are included.
Tuesday, March 18 – currently and until 3 p.m.
Wednesday, March 19 through Friday, October 31 – 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. weekdays
Interstate 75
- the project limits are between milepoints 86.25 and 97.703
- two short lane closures will remain in effect for I-75 southbound 24/7 until further notice
- shoulder closures are in place northbound at Exits 87 and 90 for barrier wall replacement 24/7 until further notice
- milling and resurfacing operations are between 7 a.m. until 3 p.m. weekdays
- speed limit changes will be in effect --- motorists should remain aware
All work and/or closures are subject to change depending on weather, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
