Traffic pattern change for US 25 in Madison County

Between Duncannon Lane/KY 2872 and Carriage Place Drive

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 25, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a traffic pattern change for US 25 in Madison County. Drivers will be diverted from the current roadway onto the newly constructed Berea Road. Motorists should remain aware of the change when traveling through the area.

Wednesday, Feb. 26 – 3 p.m. (time is approximate)

US 25

  • motorists will be diverted from the current roadway onto the newly constructed Berea Road
  • the traffic pattern change will be between Duncannon Lane/KY 2872 and Carriage Place Drive (milepoints 13 – 14.5)
  • both lanes of traffic will be on the new road with the 45 MPH speed limit

All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.

District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
