KYTC District 1 High Water Report for Feb. 22, 2025 at 5:30 p.m.

Road condition update

PADUCAH, Ky. (Feb. 22, 2025) High water is impacting some roads in KYTC District 1.

High water remains possible even for roads not listed. Remember, never drive through a flooded roadway — turn around, don’t drown.

List of roads in District 1 impacted by high water:
Please note this list only includes state routes. Flooded roads added throughout the day will be listed as NEW. Roads in which water has receded are listed below as 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗔𝗥 and will then be removed from the list during the next update.

Infrastructure damage due to flooding
(NOTE: These will be longer-term closures as engineers develop and execute a repair plan.)

  • Carlisle County – KY 1591, closed at the 1.5 MM, sinkhole. 
  • Hickman County – KY 3061, closed from the 0-2.366 MM, slide at cross drain. 
  • Marshall County – KY 58, closed at the 1.3 MM, pavement undermined due to slide.

Crittenden County

KY 1917 is closed with high water between the 1-1.5 MM. 

KY 135 is closed with high water at the 4.15 MM. - NEW

Hickman County

KY 123 is closed with high water between the 14-16 MM in the Hailwell Corner area.

Livingston County

KY 137 is closed with high water between the 5.3-15.2 MM. 

McCracken County

KY 1255/Bonds Road is closed with high water between the 0-2.3 MM.

KY 787 is closed with high water from the 0-1.7 MM. 

Trigg County

KY 1507/Barefield Road is closed with high water at the 1.0 MM. 

KY 126 is closed with high water near the 0.2 MM, at the intersection with Irvin Road.
