TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closures on Interstate 64 Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Franklin County

Bridge inspections scheduled 

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 21, 2025) The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane closures on Interstate 64 beginning Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Franklin County.

The right lane on I-64 West at mile point 55.4 (over KY 1659/Glenns Creek Road) will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by the closure of the right lane on I-64 East on Wednesday, Feb. 26, during the same hours. The lane closures are necessary to allow consultant inspectors to conduct hands-on inspections of the bridges over the Kentucky River.

Drivers should expect delays, heed signage, and use caution when traveling through the area.
