TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closures on Interstate 64 Beginning Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Franklin County
Bridge inspections scheduled
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Feb. 21, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane closures on Interstate 64 beginning Tuesday, Feb. 25, in Franklin County.
The right lane on I-64 West at mile point 55.4 (over KY 1659/Glenns Creek Road) will be closed on Tuesday, Feb. 25, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., followed by the closure of the right lane on I-64 East on Wednesday, Feb. 26, during the same hours. The lane closures are necessary to allow consultant inspectors to conduct hands-on inspections of the bridges over the Kentucky River.
Drivers should expect delays, heed signage, and use caution when traveling through the area.
