District 4 Winter Weather Travel 11am Update

ELIZABETHTOWN, Ky. (Feb. 11, 2025)  Road crews have treated and plowed  since snow began early this morning. Current air and pavement temperatures are favorable for plowing and effective treatment where is has been needed. Grayson, Hart and Green Counties have received mostly rain since midnight as the snow/rain line hovers across the southern tier of the district.

Crews will continue to plow and treat until precipitation ends. With favorable temperatures expected, treatments should continue to be effective into tonight.

Motorists should continue driving at slower speeds with both heavy rain and snow/slush resulting in reduced traction. Allow additional space as a buffer between other vehicles and stopping distances.
