KY 2140 Bridge Closed at 3.767 Mile Marker over Mud Creek in Fulton County

Closure due to corrosion, deterioration of bridge beams

PADUCAH, Ky. (Feb. 6, 2025)  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) has closed a bridge at the 3.767 mile marker on KY 2140 over Mud Creek in Fulton County.

This section of KY 2140 is located between KY 94 and KY 1129. 

The bridge is closed to all traffic until further notice after an inspection team found widespread corrosion and deterioration of the bridge beams.

KYTC engineers will evaluate the bridge to determine if it can be repaired or should be replaced.

Approximately 55 vehicles travel this section of KY 2140 in an average day.
