Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 Crews Complete Winter Storm Response
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Jan. 11, 2025) – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 crews wrapped up snow & ice operations this afternoon. Crews had been working since early Friday morning following a winter weather system that dumped multiple inches of snow across the District.
All routes are mainly clear with some sporadic slick spots possible on more rural routes. Temperatures are expected to drop into the low 20 degree mark overnight. Any water left on the road could freeze and create slick spots. Motorists should use slower speeds, especially on rural roads. Temperatures are expected to reach above 40 degrees tomorrow so any slick spots should melt.
