Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 Winter Storm Road Condition Update 7 p.m.
The District 3 area serves Allen, Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Logan, Metcalfe, Monroe, Simpson, Todd, and Warren Counties
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (Jan. 10, 2025) – Following a winter storm weather system that dumped multiple inches of snow throughout the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 3 area, state highway crews continue to treat routes. Roads were in good condition for most of the day, but heavy snow later in the day has created hazardous driving conditions into the evening.
Crews will continue to work through the night, but motorists should expect hazardous driving conditions into Saturday. Roads are passable in most areas, but may be covered or partially covered. If motorists have to be on the roadway slower speeds, plenty of space between vehicles and extra caution is recommended. Please give snow & ice response vehicles plenty of space.
