TRAFFIC ALERT: Ramp from I-71 Northbound to I-71/75 Northbound Blocked in Boone County Due to Crash

COVINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 6, 2025) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet advises motorists of a traffic alert in Boone County.
The ramp from Interstate 71 to I-71/75 northbound is blocked between mile point 76.4 and 77.61, a distance of 1.21 miles, due to a single vehicle crash. The crash was reported at 7:19 p.m.
Law enforcement is diverting traffic to I-75 southbound. Motorists can detour using the Walton exit ramp. Motorists are encouraged to find alternate routes to avoid potential delays.
This area is expected to be blocked for the next two hours.
