Access to Royal Drive at Buttermilk Pike to Close for Upcoming Development Work Beginning Friday, Dec. 13

A portion of Royal Drive will be restricted to construction traffic only until further notice

COVINGTON, Ky. (Dec. 6, 2024) Beginning Friday, Dec. 13, access to Royal Drive at Buttermilk Pike (KY 371) (mile point 2.657) will be closed to motorists until further notice for infrastructure construction and repair.

A portion of Royal Drive will be restricted to construction traffic only, and detour signs will be posted to guide motorists. Local traffic should plan to use alternate routes.

Motorists are urged to allow extra travel time, remain alert and follow posted signs near the closure.

Any questions related to the upcoming development should be directed toward the City of Fort Mitchell.
