Traffic Advisory: U.S. 460 Blocked East of Georgetown at Newtown Pike (KY 922) Intersection

Utility lines, pole down at milepoint 14.1

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Dec. 1, 2024) Downed utility lines and a pole have blocked U.S. 460 (Paris Road) at the Newtown Pike (KY 922) intersection in Scott County just east of Georgetown. Utility companies are responding, but the closure could remain in place through Monday until cleanup is complete.

U.S. 460 should be considered closed until further notice at milepoint 14.1 just west of the Newtown Pike intersection, and all U.S. 460 motorists should seek alternate routes. Traffic may use I-75, U.S. 62 or U.S. 68 to reroute between Georgetown and Paris.
