TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Daily Lane and Ramp Closures on I-264 West Beginning Thursday, Nov. 14, in Jefferson County
Bridge maintenance work scheduled
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Nov. 13, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of daily lane and ramp closures on Interstate 264 West (Watterson Expressway) beginning Thursday, Nov. 14, in Jefferson County.
The on-ramp from U.S. 60 (Shelbyville Road) to I-264 West will be closed between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14; Friday, Nov. 15; and Monday, Nov. 18.
Additionally, on Friday, Nov. 15, and Monday, Nov. 18, the right lane and shoulder of I-264 West at mile marker 19.8 (near U.S. 60/Shelbyville Road) will be closed from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The ramp and lane closures are necessary for contract crews to perform bridge maintenance work.
Drivers should heed signage, use caution, and follow posted detours.
