Update - Closure to continue for
Vanarsdell Road/KY 1988 in Mercer County
Culvert replacement between milepoints 3.4 and 3.2
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Nov. 1, 2024) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that this news release serves as an update. The closure for Vanarsdell Road/KY 1988 will be extended. The temporary closure is necessary for culvert replacement operations.
Friday, Nov. 1 – currently and until 3 p.m.
Monday, Nov. 4 through Friday, Nov. 8 – 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. daily
Vanarsdell Road/KY 1988
- a closure will be in effect between milepoints 3.4 and 3.2
Alternate Routes:
- US 127 North to KY 1160
- US 127 South to KY 1987
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
