Resurfacing Project on Bracht-Piner Road (KY 14) in Kenton County Begins Monday, Oct. 28
Flaggers will direct traffic through work zone
COVINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 24, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of a resurfacing project on Bracht-Piner Road (KY 14) in Kenton County beginning on Monday, Oct. 28.
Crews will be resurfacing Bracht-Piner Road from Dixie Highway (U.S. 25) (mile point 0.0), to Madison Pike (KY 17) (mile point 3.26), a distance of 3.26 miles.
These crews will be working between the hours of 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. Motorists should expect single lane closures with flaggers used on both sides of the work zone to guide traffic safely through the project area. Expect delays, and if possible, find an alternate route to avoid traffic backups.
Weather permitting, crews will begin work on base failures on Monday, Oct. 28. This work is expected to take several days. Milling/paving operations are expected to begin the week of Monday, Nov. 4.
Eaton Asphalt Paving Co. Inc. is contracted to perform the $359,261.51 project on behalf of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. The project is expected to be completed later this year.
The date, time, and duration of work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur. Motorists can get Northern Kentucky road construction updates on the District 6 Roadshow.
