Rest areas now open for Interstate 64 in
Woodford County
I 64 east & westbound between milepoints 60.2 and 60.7
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 11, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists that the east and westbound rest areas on Interstate 64 are now open. The rest areas (buildings) were temporarily closed due to issues with plumbing.

- the east and westbound rest areas (buildings) are open between milepoints 60.2 and 60.7
- the parking lots for both rest areas remain open
All work and/or closures are scheduled on a tentative basis, and subject to change depending on weather conditions, emergencies and other factors beyond the control of the Department of Highways.
District 7 includes Anderson, Bourbon, Boyle, Clark, Fayette, Garrard, Jessamine, Madison, Mercer, Montgomery, Scott and Woodford Counties.
