TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Lane Closures on I-65 South Beginning Friday, Oct. 4, in Bullitt County
Crews to repair concrete slabs
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 3, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of lane closures on Interstate 65 South beginning Friday, Oct. 4, at 7 p.m., through Sunday, Oct. 6, at 7 p.m., in Bullitt County.
Two lanes on I-65 South will be closed from north of mile marker 117 (KY 44) to mile marker 113 (near the Bullitt County Welcome Center). The ramps to and from KY 44 will remain open during the lane closures. The off-ramp from I-65 South to KY 480 will remain open. The on-ramp from KY 480 to I-65 South will be closed.
Crews will be repairing concrete slabs at multiple locations on I-65 South, with lane closures being necessary to allow ample time for the concrete to cure. Motorists should expect a traffic shift, obey lane restrictions, and use caution when traveling through the work zone.
The date and duration of this work may be adjusted if inclement weather or other unforeseen delays occur.
