TRAFFIC ADVISORY: I-65 North to I-264 West and I-264 West to Crittenden Drive Overnight Ramp Closures Beginning Tonight, Sept. 30, in Jefferson County
Contract crews to install permanent traffic counters
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 30, 2024) – The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) advises motorists of overnight ramp closures on Interstate 65 North and Interstate (Watterson Expressway) 264 West beginning tonight, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m., in Jefferson County.
The I-65 North to I-264 West ramp will be closed from 7 p.m. tonight, Sept. 30, through 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6. Closures will continue on Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2.
The I-264 West collector-distributor ramp to Crittenden Drive will be closed from 7 p.m. tonight, Sept. 30, through 6 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 6. Closures will continue on Tuesday, Oct. 1, from 7 p.m. through 6 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2.
The northbound Freedom Way ramp (from the airport) to I-264 West will remain open.
The overnight lane closures are necessary for contract crews to install permanent traffic counters. Motorists should heed signage, use caution, and expect delays while traveling through the work zone.
