TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Interstate 65 Southbound Blocked at the 136.6 MM in Louisville Due to a Crash
Closure is just past the Kennedy Bridge, traffic is being detoured to I-64 and I-71
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 28, 2024) – All lanes of I-65 Southbound at the 136.6 mile marker are closed near the southern end of the Kennedy Bridge due to a crash.
This incident is separate and unrelated to an earlier crash where a CMV overturned and lost its load while traveling on I-65 Southbound.
I-65 is expected to be closed for several hours. The ramps to I-64 East and West, and I-71 North are all open at this time.
